Terms
Last updated: October 2026
These are the terms for using TeachOS, written in plain language. By creating an account or using TeachOS you agree to them.
Questions: support@teachosnigeria.com.
1. About these terms
TeachOS is operated by Ridgeview Innovations Hub Ltd (“Ridgeview”, “we”). “You” means the person using TeachOS and, where you set up or administer a school in TeachOS, that school.
How we handle personal information is explained on the Privacy page.
2. The service
- TeachOS uses AI to write lesson notes, assessments and schemes of work for Nigerian primary and secondary classes, and includes an AI assistant for teaching questions.
- It gives a school a workspace: classes and students, attendance registers, results and report cards, discipline reports, announcements, staff messaging, calls and meetings, lesson-note review and optional teacher verification.
- The AI writing is done by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic.
- TeachOS follows the structure of the NERDC curriculum, but it does not contain the official NERDC documents and does not know your school’s own scheme of work. You type the topic, or pick a week from a scheme of work that TeachOS generated for you.
- TeachOS needs an internet connection. It does not generate or save anything offline.
- Documents are printed, or saved as PDF, from your browser’s print dialog.
3. Accounts
- You sign up with an email address and a password. You may be asked to confirm your email address before you can sign in.
- Give accurate information, including your real name: it is printed on your lesson notes and shown to your school.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
- An account can belong to one school at a time.
- TeachOS is for teachers and school staff. Students and parents do not have accounts.
4. School workspaces
- A school administrator creates the school in TeachOS and invites staff with an invite code. The school workspace is included for every school without payment.
- School admins control their workspace. They can deactivate a member of staff, make another member of staff an admin, and review lesson notes (approve, ask for a revision or reject). If the school switches teacher verification on, they also approve or decline people who ask to join.
- If you join a school, its admins can see the lesson notes and assessments in your account and your activity in the school. The Privacy page lists exactly what.
- The school is responsible for the records it enters about students, parents and staff: for having the right to enter them, for telling the people concerned, and for their accuracy.
- Messages to parents and guardians sent through TeachOS are sent by the school, and the school is responsible for their content.
5. AI-written content
Check everything the AI writes before you use it in a classroom, print it, or submit it to your school.
- AI-written content can contain mistakes: wrong facts, wrong answers, errors in worked examples, or material that does not match your school’s scheme, your class or the current curriculum.
- You can edit a lesson note before saving, printing or submitting it. The teacher who uses a document is responsible for what is taught from it.
- A lesson note takes about a minute to write. Sometimes the AI service is busy or a note comes back incomplete; TeachOS tells you when that happens.
- The AI assistant gives general teaching help. It cannot see your account, and it does not replace your school’s policies or professional advice.
6. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- share your account, or use someone else’s;
- enter information about students, parents or colleagues that you have no right to enter, or type their personal details into the AI;
- use TeachOS to harass, threaten or mislead anyone, or to send unwanted messages to parents;
- upload anything unlawful, or files that contain malware;
- try to get around plan limits, break into other accounts or other schools’ data, or overload or disrupt the service;
- use automated tools to generate content in bulk, or resell access to TeachOS.
We may suspend an account that does any of these.
7. Plans and payments
Free plan
- Each calendar month you can generate 10 AI lesson notes, 10 AI assessments and 3 schemes of work, and send 50 messages to the AI assistant.
- The allowance resets on the 1st of each month, Nigerian time. Unused allowance does not carry over.
- When an allowance is used up, that feature stops until the reset or until you are on a paid plan. Everything you have already created stays available.
Teacher Pro: ₦2,500 for 30 days
- Removes the monthly limits on the four AI features for one teacher.
School plan: ₦25,000 per school for 30 days
- Paid by a school admin. It gives Teacher Pro to up to 15 active staff in that school: admins first, then teachers in the order they joined.
- Staff beyond the 15 covered stay on the Free plan unless they buy Teacher Pro themselves.
How paying works
- You pay once, through Paystack. TeachOS never sees or stores your card details.
- A payment gives you 30 days, counted from the moment the payment is confirmed. It is not a subscription.
- There is no automatic renewal. We do not keep your card and will not charge you again. You pay again only if you want another 30 days.
- If you pay again for the same plan while it is still running, 30 days are added to its end date, so you keep the days you have left. If you switch to a different plan, the new plan starts on the day you pay and the days left on the old one are not carried over.
- When the 30 days end, the account returns to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted.
- Prices are in naira and are the ones shown in the pricing section on the day you pay. We may change prices for future payments.
8. Refunds
If you were charged and your plan was not switched on, or you think a payment went wrong, write to support@teachosnigeria.com with the email address on your account and the Paystack reference.
9. Your content
- The lesson notes, assessments, schemes of work and records you create in TeachOS are for you and your school to use, edit and print.
- You allow us to store and process them so that TeachOS can work for you, as described on the Privacy page.
- The TeachOS software, name and design belong to Ridgeview.
10. Availability and changes
- We work to keep TeachOS running, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
- TeachOS depends on other companies (for the database, the AI, payments and hosting). If one of them has a problem, part of TeachOS may stop working for a time.
- We may add, change or remove features.
11. Ending your use of TeachOS
- You can stop using TeachOS at any time. Because nothing renews automatically, there is nothing to cancel.
- To have your account or your school’s workspace deleted, write to support@teachosnigeria.com from the email address on the account.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk.
12. Responsibility and governing law
TeachOS is a tool to help teachers and schools work. Teachers remain responsible for what they teach, and schools for the decisions they make using their records.
13. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using TeachOS after a change, the new terms apply to you.
